Innovative Management Concepts, Inc. (IMC), an information technology (IT) services and solutions provider, has received an additional cybersecurity capability – the Highly Adaptive Cybersecurity Services (HACS) Special Item Number (SIN) – under our General Services Administration (GSA) Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) contract for commercial IT products/services that is available to Federal agencies worldwide.
The GSA MAS is one of the largest contracts in government used by agencies to purchase technology products and services. It delivers federal, state, and local customer agencies the tools and expertise needed to shorten procurement cycles, ensure compliance, and obtain the best value for innovative technology products, services, and solutions. GSA MAS’ information technology solutions are categorized by Special Item Numbers (SINs). HACS provides agencies quicker access to key support services from technically evaluated vendors that will:
- Expand an agency's capacity to test high-priority IT systems,
- Rapidly address potential vulnerabilities, and
- Stop adversaries before they impact agency networks.
The scope of the HACS SIN includes proactive and reactive cybersecurity services. Assessment services needed for systems categorized as High Value Assets (HVA) are also within scope of this SIN. It includes Risk and Vulnerability Assessments (RVA), Security Architecture Review (SAR), and Systems Security Engineering (SSE). Additionally, the scope of the SIN includes services for the seven step Risk Management Framework (RMF), and Security Operations Center (SOC) services.
IMC’s current GSA MAS current five-year period runs from July 24, 2017, to July 23, 2022, with three five-year option periods, which can extend the contract to 2037. IMC has held a similar GSA schedule since 1998.
