IMC to Provide Cyber and Privacy Support for HHS

Innovative Management Concepts, Inc. (IMC), an information technology services and solutions provider, has been awarded a task order to support the mission of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Administration for Children and Family (ACF) by maintaining the security environments for ACF systems and supporting the full scope of information security services supporting ACF’s customers.

The ACF Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) Cyber Security and Privacy (CSP) Division encompasses the full spectrum of ACF IT security including Privacy, Policy, Security Training, Risk Management and Cyber Defense. ACF’s overall objective, goal, and budget of the CSP is designed to develop a high performing Security and Privacy Division by delivering key technologies and processes for all cloud delivery models, mobile, analytics, Development/Security and Operations (DEVSECOPS), automation using converged fabrics and containers. IMC is providing the teams needed to expand the current baseline of support. Specific task areas for this work include project management, information security management, risk management, cyber defense, privacy, security policy management, and security control assessments.

IMC is researching and providing innovative approaches to meet ACF’s Cyber Security and Privacy requirements and provides and/or manages personnel, processes, procedures, and technical resources to establish an integrated Information Security and Privacy Program. This includes a highly reliable, consistent, and effective Cyber Security and Privacy program that meets or exceeds agreed upon service levels and industry best practices. IMC also ensures all aspects of the Cyber Security program are performed in accordance with HHS security policies, National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) standards, and Committee on National Security Systems (CNSS) policies.
