Innovative Management Concepts, Inc. (IMC), an information technology services and solutions provider, has been awarded a five-year task order to support the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) IT Strategy and Planning, Business Planning and Risk Management (BPRM) Office and the Enterprise Intake Branch (EIB) with maintenance of the Project and Portfolio Management (PPM) tool and Work Request Management System (WRMS). The TO is a competitive award under the General Services Administration’s VETS2 Governmentwide Acquisition Contract (GWAC). The period of performance began on 2 February 2020.
The PPM Tool environment supports the internal controls of the Enterprise Demand Management (EDM) System used Enterprise-wide to register demand for IT products and services. The PPM Tool supports the agency goal of ensuring that IT systems include all requirements needed to process functional changes triggered by legislative mandate or other valid change request, as well as prioritizes demands and aligns IT resources.
IMC provides PPM professional services to maintain all PPM Tool and PPM applications in accordance with the agency’s enterprise architecture. This includes support of functional modeling of all PPM Tool processes with the Framework for IT Success (FRITZ)® tools with attributes identified previously, program and project infrastructure, management activities, and products. IMC maintains all PPM Tool applications and identifies configurable elements needed to leverage out-of-the-box functionality.
IMC is committed to supporting the IRS in their mission to provide America's taxpayers top quality service by helping them understand and meet their tax responsibilities and enforce the law with integrity and fairness to all.
