The senior IT property and asset manager will play a crucial role in supporting the daily and strategic management of technology-related hardware/software within the Asia Pacific region.
Work Location: Completely onsite in Honolulu, HI.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: This position will include, but is not limited to, the following tasks:
- Collaborate with team members to assess asset status, needs, risks, goals, and progress.
- Support the management of client assets through database administration, adhering to preferences and goals.
- Assist in managing warehouse activities, including incoming and outgoing equipment.
- Contribute to managing equipment/material trackers for projects across the expansive Asia Pacific region.
- Assist with overseeing comprehensive long lead time status reports.
- Participate in the development, organization, and maintenance of client portfolios.
- Participate in IT asset inventories while meticulously recording physical locations.
- Aid in the management of DD-250s/1149s and Red-line Inventory Reports.
- Support the preparation of monthly analytical reports that offer insights to leadership.
- Participate in the assessment of the hardware asset management program's maturity and the execution of continuous improvement plans.
- Contribute to researching industry best practices, aiding in benchmarking against organizational practices to enhance IT asset management.
- Assist the procurement manager in developing and implementing hardware sourcing strategies.
- Actively contribute to team dynamics by assisting in related tasks as needed.
Basic Required Qualifications and Skills: Note: These are mandatory items that all candidates must have when submitting an application to IMC for this position. - Ability to obtain a forklift operator certification, demonstrating proficiency in operating forklift equipment safely and efficiently.
- 4-6 years of logistics experience, preferably working directly with the Army.
- Capable of handling packages weighing up to 40 lbs., ensuring the safe and secure movement of equipment and materials.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, and skilled in Database Management and software tools/solutions, enabling effective data organization and analysis.
- Strong analytical skills and critical thinking abilities.
- Detail-oriented and well-organized.
- Proficient in written and oral communication.
- Comfortable with technology tools used for collaboration, communication, scheduling, and documentation.
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively, prioritizing tasks as needed.
- Demonstrates a positive attitude and willingness to learn, with effective time-management skills.
- Advance understanding of project management principles.
- Pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires U.S. Citizenship.
- All applicants must have current DoD Secret clearance day one and prior to entry on duty.
Desired Qualifications and Skills: It is desirable that the candidate have the following qualifications:
- Possession of a bachelor's degree in a related field is advantageous.
- Exposure to general procurement training, seminars, and conferences is an added advantage, showcasing a proactive approach to expanding knowledge in the field.
- 10+ years of logistics experience, preferably working directly with the Army.
